Paul Bryant - Guitar, Vocals
Paul plays rhythm guitar and sings lead and harmony vocals for Kentucky Border. Originally from Johnson's Fork in Eastern Kentucky, Paul now resides in Spencer, Ohio with his beautiful wife Jennifer Lynn where they enjoy spending time with their two children, nieces and nephews.
Born in 1971 to a family strong in mountain traditions, Paul grew up listening to the founding father's of Bluegrass Music just as his parents did as they struggled to survive in the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky. Paul started playing guitar and singing at age 12 after getting his first guitar for Christmas. He began listening to and learning from artists such as Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Flatt and Scruggs and Ricky Skaggs. By age 15 Paul had performed on stage for the first time when he joined Flag City Bluegrass with his cousin and later Woodville Express and until 1991.
Eighteen years later Paul has finally returned to his roots in bluegrass music with the formation of Kentucky Border. Paul is confident this band will carry on the long standing traditions of a hard driving, high lonesome sound that is Bluegrass Music!
